Pegisai Details Granular Value Engineering Behind Alkaimi Financial Ecosystem’s Currency Neutral Wholesale Settlement

Pegisai details Granular Value technology powering currency-neutral wholesale settlement by chartered banks in 14 countries across 17 asset classes.

DALLAS, TX, UNITED STATES, October 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Following the Alkaimi Ecosystem’s announcement of wholesale settlement operations by chartered banks in 14 countries, Pegisai Global Holdings today detailed the Granular Value engineering supporting the ecosystem’s operational currency-neutral rail.

Alkaimi member institutions began operations on 1 September 2026, using Pegisai-licensed technology to hold, transfer and settle recognized asset value without sovereign currency or blockchain inside the network.

“The true evolution of institutional treasury operations is not about moving tokenized versions of existing fiat liabilities faster,” said Mike Rogers, a Pegisai spokesman. “True efficiency requires structural finality.”

Pegisai’s Granular Value technologies provide the common measurement framework through which different qualifying assets can participate in settlement. The model recognizes whole asset value, expresses it in Universal Value Units (UVUs), and assembles those units into Digitized Tangible Assets (DTAs). Each DTA can move in whole or in fractional portions between holding accounts on the Alkaimi ledger.

The technologies separate the asset’s recognized settlement value from its physical movement. The underlying asset remains in place under the applicable custody arrangements, while its recognized value moves between accounts. Settlement occurs when that value transfers on the ledger, rather than through a sequence of correspondent-bank payment promises.

As announced 30 September 2026, the Alkaimi ecosystem currently recognizes seventeen asset classes: gold, silver, platinum, palladium, oil, natural gas, wheat, corn, rice, soybeans, coffee, cocoa, steel, copper, aluminum, iron ore and coal. Granular Value supplies a common settlement measure across those classes without pricing the assets or ledger transactions in a sovereign currency.
Currency exchange occurs at an Alkaimi member bank’s desk outside the ledger when a client requests currency. Inside the network, institutions settle in recognized asset value. This architecture separates wholesale settlement from the currency conversion and funding arrangements used at the network’s perimeter.

Current operations are limited to traditional wholesale settlement. Institutional readers can access the published testing and settlement-verification record, The Alkaimi Financial Ecosystem in Function: Granular Value on a Neutral Rail, through the Pegisai Media Portal.

Value held on the ecosystem’s ledger is held under a custodial agreement. Held value is not a currency deposit and is not insured by deposit insurance or by a government agency such as the FDIC. The settlement mechanisms used in the licensed model are themselves individually insured. Supervisory classification of member operations rests with each member’s own regulator. The Alkaimi Ecosystem has not been designated a systemically important financial market utility.
